Amar es Adoptar

The catalogue of rescued dogs the city's environment ministry has up for adoption. Who is available, what each one is like, and the whole application from your phone.

The landing page: why adopt, what to know first, and what to have ready

What it solves

The dogs live at the Cuajimalpa shelter and the only way to meet them was to go there. Now you see all of them with their profile —sex, size, age, energy, shots— and filter by what you can actually handle at home.

Each dog's profile

A dog is not a table row. The profile carries its story, its health status and whether it is adoptable, because that is what makes someone decide.

What I did

Frontend lead. The whole interface in React: the catalogue and its filters, the profile page, the sectioned adoption form, and the design.

::column-break::

What mattered

That the form wouldn't scare anyone off. This is an adoption, not paperwork: it asks only what it needs, explains why, and says up front that filling it in does not guarantee the dog.

Stack

React with TailwindCSS against the shelter API, plus the city's own captcha on submission.
